Chiropractic Adjustment
Chiropractic manipulation is a hands-on treatment in which a gentle, controlled force is applied to joints to improve mobility, alignment, and function of your spine and joints.
Stabilization Exercises
To ensure proper muscle activation is used when performing everyday movements.
Manual Therapy
Techniques such as cupping or graston work to reduce pain and muscle tension. Cupping creates a suction on your skin to target underlying tissues to help increase blood flow and promote healing of soft tissue. Graston, also known as scraping or IASTM, breaks up fascial adhesions.
Kinesio Taping
Kinesio taping is a technique that uses flexible adhesive tape to support muscles and joints during movements. The goals behind taping include providing compression and support, pain relief, reducing inflammation and bruising, decreasing load on a muscle or joint, and muscle retraining through tactile stimulation.
Dry Needling
Dry needling targets muscular trigger points and tension to relieve pain and inflammation to a specific area. Thin needles are inserted into the muscle to help improve mobility, reduce muscle tightness, improve circulation, and speed up recovery.
Directional Based Exercises
The use of repetitive movements and sustained positions provide fast pain relief to treat the spine and extremities.
Movement Assessment
Movement assessments based upon the Selective Functional Movement Assessments and Functional Movement Screen is both a diagnostic and screening tool to evaluate movement patterns. SFMA is used primarily in those with a known pain or injury and FMS is a screening tool for active individuals without current pain.
Compression Therapy
Dynamic air compression boots are used for both recovery and rehabilitation, with the purpose of enhancing circulation and blood flow, reducing swelling and inflammation, reducing muscle soreness and fatigue, and improving lymphatic drainage.
“Sadie helped me through a nagging shoulder injury! Great experience, very professional. She asked me what I wanted to be doing but couldn’t (throwing) after a few visits, she said go home and throw and see how it feels. Slow by steady progression over a couple months and can throw without pain.”
